Richard Jones from the Dreaming Zebra Foundation dropped off some more guitars at Ethos today!  The Dreaming Zebra Foundation has collected a number of instruments for Ethos' programs over the past year.  Thank you for your continued support!

One Night Only! - Friday June 12th, 6-8pm at Backspace - 7 Student rockbands from Ethos Music Center take to the stage to entertain, amaze and show off their skills! 7 young bands between the ages of 10-18 will perform classic and original material in an end-of-year performance open to fans, friends and the public.

The Cowboy Junkies and Son Volt are holding a benefit concert for Ethos Music Center at the Aladdin Theater on July 19, 2009!  Tickets are $45 each, and space is very limited.  Buy your tickets online and find out more info here.

Volunteering at Ethos Music Center is a great way to get involved with a vibrant musical community and make a difference in the lives of Portland's young musicians. Ethos Music Center is grateful for its many talented volunteers who help us with events, assist our instructors in after school music classes... and lend a hand when we are drowning in piles of brochures that need labeling!

Ethos will be closed Monday May 25th for the Memorial Day Holiday.

Want to make a difference this summer while making music with kids? Become a volunteer at Ethos' Summer Music Camps! We are looking for everything from classroom Teaching Assistants (piano, guitar, choir strings, rock, hip hop & percussion) to recess and lunch assistants. Volunteers must commit to at least 2 hours a day for one full week (M - F) of camp. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
