Ethos Music Center is committed to continually examining the systems of inequity and discrimination that create barriers to music education. This starts by acknowledging the ever-evolving work we need to do within our own organization to ensure that we’re living our values of equity and inclusion. We recognize that this work is continual and includes self-reflection, honesty and authenticity, revising policies, procedures, and practices, in addition to strengthening our partnerships with community groups. We commit to being compassionate, transparent, collaborative, and accountable in this process. We deeply value the diverse array of life experiences within our community, and celebrate the role that music plays in lifting up all of our voices. People of color are encouraged to apply.
Ethos believes everyone deserves access to the well documented benefits of music education, and does not discriminate on the basis of socioeconomic status, geographic location, abilities, religion, race, ethnicity, culture, national origin, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
